Planète Sept: Saturne

Saturn is the physical embodiment and conduit of the cosmic force mortals call "Limitation". In my world, she existed as the aspect of Archangel Kafziel. 

Connected with the being known as Capricorn, her power also includes the natural Laws of the cosmos, Bindings, Stability, and Order. Earth makes a trio. She also holds the portal to Uranus, and as her airy associations bleed through, Saturn is often misconceived as a co-ruler of Aquarius.

Further correspondences include the metal Lead, Black candles, The Devil tarot card, Jet, Onyx, Obsidian, Black Salt, Pygmy Moths, the Snow Fox, Elder Flower, Lily of the Valley, Morning Glory, Saturday, musical note of D, and the Malachim script.

Kafziel resides in the Emanation of Binah, the essence of of intuitive understanding and contemplation. It is in this place that the light of creation is channeled into its various forms.

Though seen as male in many mythologies (Father Time, Chronos, etc.), Kafziel herself is female. Though she governs Time, it is only one of the Laws that she governs.

In my vision when I connected with Saturn, I stood before Kafziel in a complete black space. Though she sat with one knee up and hunched, I could tell she was tall. Wearing black silken robes, having equally dark long hair and near-black irises, and an upright scythe in one hand, there was a quiet calmness from her. I could feel her in my mind, giving me that same calm - a calmness from certainty and order. And for most of our visit, we sat in silence.
