Histoire, Chapitre Un: Origines

 The Nothingness sat in its endless void - timeless, lifeless, wakeless. Within its vast expanse slept many forces and beings waiting to be made real. But of them all, none strove for Existence more than Creation Herself - Energaea. At her waking, the Nothingness split into two realms. 

The first was the Nothingness as it had always been, and the second held the realm of Energaea. It was full of the First Force, completely devoid of Light, and all else except Darkness. The goddess had manifested a canvas on which the rest of Existence would be painted. This primordial Darkness would be known by later beings as The Womb.
Soon after, Light manifested in Darkness’s Core as a yoni of teal light and birthed Seyrion, the incarnation of everything in Creation that would be unseen or not of the physical plane. He was formless and silent, then his sister came. The yoni solidified into a crystal, ever-glowing with the teal light of Creation, the incarnation of all that was and would be part of the physical plane - Crystallia.

Seyrion and Crystallia, brother and sister, seen and unseen, joined together in a bright display and became Creation incarnate - The Ancient. From their joined form came the many forces of the cosmos: Life, Communication, Connection, Secret Knowledge, Magick, Drive, Expansion, Limits, Change, Dreams, and Death. These were the fundamental building blocks of Existence. They were also tasked with recording all that was and would come to be.
Then came the Primordial Elemental Beings: Air, Fire, Earth, Water, and Space. Along with Light, Darkness, and Twilight, these would be known as The Eightfold Magicks. These forces would make up the physical world of Nature.
At last came The Guardians. Eighty-eight in all - twelve of them aspects of the first four Elementals, one connected with the fifth set to guard the core of this new world, one to guard all others, and the rest to paint a tapestry upon the Darkness to guide.

The Ancient separated into Seyrion and Crystallia, the brother taking up his post as the guardian of the Realm of Power. While the Guardians protected the outer bounds of Existence, the Cosmic Forces and the Primordial Elemental Beings went to work creating their world. Afterwards, the first four Primordials joined with Crystallia to create a realm of the highest vibrations, the truest forms of nature. Then they waited for life to spring up.
The ancient humans were not connected with magick or the gods, and as such formed a solely scientific, utopian society across hundreds of planets. They became highly advanced, but had lost their connection with nature. The gods anticipated this, and it only strengthened their resolve for what was to come.

Then Crystallia and the Primordials cast giant crystals into these planets - most containing the element of their respective god, but the rest were left pure for the Great Crystalline Mother herself. Calamity struck the unsuspecting humans at first, but over time most ventured out of their dark caves to join their transformed planets and go through metamorphosis themselves. Those crystals that embedded in the earth radiated an energy that turned everything into its purest, crystalline form. 

On the night of each Calamity, children were born with crystal hearts, irises, and nails. These were known as the Crystal Children, and would give rise to the Elementals much later - beings made of the very elements around them. Each aspect of the Primordials had their own section of this realm, and they became as protectors and parents to these new Children.

The proto-Elementals traveled to specific planets on a sojourn to commune with the Primordial their gift had come from, but those of pure Crystal took a much longer path.

The constellations of the Guardians themselves guided the Crystal Children, all taking different paths but ending up at the same place: the Core of the Universe. They met in a rainbow array, having reached Crystallia after endless ages.
